Ingredients
4 big potatoes, peeled and cut to quartered length-wise
1 teaspoon salt
2 bags of instant Mushroom soup
2 Tablespoons butter
Salt and Pepper
Topped (Mixed it up) - Optional
Mayonnaise Tuna
Chopped onion Mayonnaise
Pepper
Chili (Optional) – add if you like spicy
Lemon (optional)
Method
1. Peel off the potatoes skin and cut it to quarter length-wise.
2. Put potatoes into a pan; add water until potatoes are covered. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to boil, covered, cook until done - (a fork can easily be poked through them).
3. Melt butter (2 Tablespoons) and add in some chopped onion and garlic to add flavor.
4. Drain water from potatoes. Put hot potatoes into a bowl
5. Mash potatoes until well mashed.
6. Add in melted butter (with chopped onion and garlic).
7. Slowly adding in Mushroom soup, Salt and pepper.
8. Use a strong spoon to beat further.
9. May add in more Mushroom soup to make it more creamy and smooth.
I plan to add in chopped apple next time. :-)
On top of Mashed Potatoes
Put Mashed Potatoes to plates or bowl, spoon some Mushroom soup around and topped with Tuna. Spread basil.
